Even in many of the world’s biggest studios, recording to tape is a practice that’s often overlooked in favour of more flexible digital recording mediums. But many musicians still hanker after the ‘warmth’ that analogue tape lends to recordings – even if they have all-digital recording facilities. Digi’s latest plug-in suite, therefore, aims to offer engineers the perfect solution to emulating the characteristics of tape: three plug-ins specifically designed to satisfy the continuing demand of the analogue faithful.
