Convolution reverb has undoubtedly been one of the big successes of the virtual studio revolution, bringing sumptuous, natural reverb to the computer-based musician. On the whole, dedicated convolution reverbs tend to be expensive, although a number of DAWS – including Logic and Cubase – now feature a basic convolution-based plug-in as standard.
