The SE Ribbon is an impressive-looking beast that comes in an aluminium flightcase along with a fine shockmount as standard. A 1.8-micron aluminium ribbon captures sound and any worries about delicate ribbons should be allayed by SE’s repair policy – the first three ribbons you break will be replaced free of charge.
