Guitarists have traditionally shied away from loopbased recording, believing it to be more suitable to electronica and hip hop genres than to styles more commonly associated with the guitar. However, with more and more musicians turning to the digital realm for inspiration, even the most thick-skinned guitarists are beginning to use elements of loopbased music in their compositions.
