The box proclaims Rush 2 to be ‘raw synth buzzes of the 1980s with a driving rhythm that decade could only dream about’ – and there’s certainly a hint of cheese about some of the synth sounds on offer here. The beats are more up-to-date, generally being pulsing, pounding and four-to-the-floor. The collection comes in formats including ACIDized WAVs, Apple Loops, REX2 and a Stylus RMX bank, so pretty much everyone is catered for. Each format is split into categories comprising construction kits, drum kits, loops, arps, pads and sound effects.
