Browsing around music stores, you could be forgiven for thinking that piano players buy digital pianos and that synth players want real-time controls and huge sounds – oh, and that the two are mutually exclusive. This is, of course, not entirely true. There are those lucky enough to be accomplished pianists and also keen performers of hip hop, dance and any number of other styles.
