When the original Saffire audio interface was released it combined high-quality mic preamps and powerful monitoring options with DSP-powered compression, EQ, amp modelling and reverb effects. As the range has grown the onboard DSP effects have been dropped in favour of host-based VST/AU versions. However, the high-quality mic preamps and monitoring options have been retained throughout the range, with the Saffire PRO 10 i/o expanding your I/O capabilities in a similar fashion to the flagship PRO 26 i/o.
