Focusrite Saffire Pro 40
Focusrite has brought its expertise to the project studio market with this latest release – the Saffire PRO 40. Hollin Jones gets the lowdown.
Price: £400.00
Manufacturer: Focusrite
Website: http://www.focusrite.com

Focusrite has for many years enjoyed a reputation as a manufacturer of fine outboard processing gear, and, more recently, computer-integrated kit such as the Saffire, Liquid Mix and Liquid Channel, among others. The company has traditionally tended to pitch its products at the higher end of the market, so it’s good to see that the latest offering, the Saffire PRO 40, aims to bring the company’s high standards to the budget-conscious project studio arena. A 20-in, 20-out FireWire audio and MIDI interface, it also ships with some Focusrite plug-ins and additional content to get you started.
