With a number of Scarbee bass products from Native Instruments having hit the software shelves in recent months (as well as Spectrasonics’ Trilian) there’s never been a better time to explore the wonders of virtual bass guitar. However, while Trilian offers an all-encompassing approach to bass sounds, Native’s Scarbee basses each focuses on a particular type of bass guitar – whether it’s the Chic inspired MM-Bass, the Fender Precision bass included in the Pre-Bass collection or the 70s Jazz bass featured here in Jay-Bass.
