Although there are plenty of orchestral-size string samples to be found nowadays, it seems that smaller ensembles, with two or three players on each desk, are much harder to find. Filling this gap in the market, therefore, is Native Instruments’ Session Strings, offering a smaller-size ensemble loosely based on the string sections heard on many classic disco or Motown tracks.
