Elektron SFX-6 MonoMachine

The MonoMachine is that great rarity: a hardware synthesizer design from a small, independent manufacturer. It’s a sad fact that it has traditionally been difficult for small companies to successfully develop and market modern synthesizer products. Outside the big league of Japanese and American manufacturers (plus scattered success stories such as Novation in the UK and Clavia in Scandinavia), there remain precious few survivors in a field now littered with casualties (some of them quite major) such as ARP, Moog and Sequential from the USA, and PPG, EDP and Quasimidi from Europe.
