Anyone who’s ever been in a studio or on a stage will almost certainly have played or sung into a Shure mic at some point – the SM57 and SM58 being particularly widely used. In recent years the microphone giant has branched into producing USB models, which are ever more popular as laptop-based music setups become more common.
