Sound Forge is a very versatile piece of waveform-editing software, providing a powerful environment in which to record, edit, master, encode and generally play around with audio on your PC. There are many cases in which a package such as Cubase or Logic may not be appropriate or necessary for your needs and where a simple but fully featured wave editor would be ideal.
