Bias has made something of a name for itself in the audio restoration market, producing quality software to remove the toughest of hisses and hums from any audio source. The first incarnation of the company’s SoundSoap application brought low-budget sound-refining and noise-removal tools to the masses, so the release of version 2 will be eagerly anticipated by anyone looking to restore archived vinyl or cassette collections or simply clean up a poor recording.
