As a genre, chill-out music arguably peaked around the late 90s, with seminal albums from Groove Armada and Moby, but elements of the music - including lush pads, ambient soundscapes and manipulated, grainy audio - can be found in many other genres since. Soundtrack & Chill is the latest release from Sample Magic and sees the team moving away from their usual electronic and dance music-based packs towards a more relaxing and acoustic place.
