With so many generic plug-ins released every month, it’s always a refreshing change to encounter a completely original product. Audio Ease’s Speakerphone certainly fits that bill – a new and exciting spin on the process of convolution, with a particular bias towards re-creating the varied ways in which a speaker can colour its input, from the ballsy sound of a Marshall stack to the thin, reedy tones of a Bakelite telephone.
