Yamaha’s Stagepas line of portable PA systems isn’t one of the sexiest-looking bits of kit you can buy. They lack the iconic visuals of a classic guitar amp or the geek appeal of a good keyboard and won’t inspire the gear lust brought on by shiny rack hardware with chunky knobs, buttons and VU meters. No, the Stagepas series is utilitarian; a simple, easy-to-use and portable PA system with clean, clear sound and a range of useful functions for musicians who need their own PA but don’t want to cart around enough gear to fill a van.
