When IK Multimedia released StompIO back at the start of 2008, the impressive AmpliTube 2 range gained a hardware controller worthy of the software itself. The StompIO provides not only stomp switches for controlling presets, individual effects and knobs for altering parameters, but also a USB 2.0 audio interface for running your guitar into the software for processing and outputs for running into an amp or PA system. What’s more, it included all the AmpliTube 2 software packages themselves, ensuring you had more than enough sounds available at your feet.
