Unveiled at NAMM back in January of this year, Strum Acoustic GS-1 is the latest modelled offering from AAS. Aiming to emulate the success of AAS’ last piece of physical modelling software – the wonderful AAS String Studio – an acoustic guitar synthesizer plug-in seems like a perfectly logical next step. But when it comes to tackling an instrument known for its warmth and expressive qualities, we have to wonder if the Canadian firm is pushing the boat out a little too far…
