All over the world, professional recording studios are making themselves ‘surround friendly’ by installing 5.1-compatible monitoring systems in their control rooms. With the music industry in decline, many studios have swapped their old record-label clients for new movie/studio ones. And since no movie is complete these days without a surround soundtrack, 5.1 systems have become a pro-studio essential.
