Bass, it’s fair to say, has developed into the most important element in modern dance music. Whether it’s chart R‘n’B playing in trendy bars or raucous jungle at a warehouse rave, the dancing audience expects to hear – and, more importantly, feel – the bass line of a track vibrating their body.
