Korg SV 1
If you want to re-create those vintage vibes that are still a mainstay of modern music, you should check out Korg’s SV-1. Mike Willox tickles the ivories.

When Leo Fender and Harold Rhodes produced their first electric stage piano in 1970 they set one of the standards for our notion of what the classic electric piano sounds like. But originals, as well as being difficult to get hold of, are also large and heavy. Korg’s first foray into the virtual vintage keyboard arena is therefore good news for gigging keyboard players.
Score: 9
