Sonic Implants Symphonic Harp

Sonic Implants continues to bring instruments from the orchestra into your studio. Mark Cousins harps on...

Cast your mind back to Issue 32 and you may remember our review of Sonic Implants’ Complete Symphonic Collection – a comprehensive and expressive set of orchestral samples for GigaStudio 3. At the time, our only real criticism was the omission of a sampled harp; in all other respects, the library set new standards for what can be achieved with GigaStudio 3, with new features such as the Dynamic Expression Filter offering huge sonic potential. It also contained a very well-played, wellmapped set of instruments. We were intrigued, therefore, when Sonic Implants announced the imminent release of the Symphonic Harp sample library – was this the missing piece that made the Complete Symphonic Collection, well… complete?

Score: 8
