T-RackS… dinosaur? Er… geddit? Just in case you don’t, IK’s dinosaur logo is there to help you make the connection – although one may question the wisdom of this, given that the company is now aiming at more professional users. Puns aside, T-RackS is a collection of five mastering effects in VST and DirectX plug-in formats (other formats are due soon). Its main claim to fame is that the effects are based on analogue modelling to produce the warm distortion associated with tube-based analogue processors.
