Anyone who has been making music on computers for a while is likely to have come across T-RackS at some point. Mastering is one of the areas in which integrated software solutions took the longest to begin to compete with hardware, and T-RackS was arguably the first affordable solution that musicians had access to. Easily recognisable in its yellow livery, it has in all probability played a part in more recordings in the last decade than any other software mastering tool.
