Naming your microphone ‘Titan’ isn’t exactly self-effacing – particularly when it hasn’t yet been subjected to the critical ears of the general public. But we’ll take it in good humour because the name is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the Titan’s newly designed titanium capsule. Although condenser microphone capsules are fundamentally the same now as they ever were, subtle developments have taken place over the years.
