Line 6 TonePort KB37

Line 6 has united the TonePort audio interface with a 37-note keyboard and a MIDI controller. Mike Hillier assesses the KB37.

Price: £269.00
Manufacturer: Line 6
Website: http://www.line6.com

Over the last ten years or so, Line 6 has provided big-budget facilities and project studios alike with access to a huge variety of guitar sounds, thanks to the popular Amp Farm and Echo Farm plug-ins, and hardware such as the PODxt. The company’s latest product – the TonePort KB37 – combines the sonic-manipulation tools provided with the GearBox software with an audio interface for recording guitars and other sources, as well as a MIDI controller complete with 37-note keyboard.

Score: 7
