CME UF80
A master keyboard with wireless MIDI capabilities and an attractive price tag? Hollin Jones checks out the UF80...
Price: £450.00
Manufacturer: CME
Website: http://www.cme-pro.com

When CME introduced its UF Series of MIDI master keyboards in 2005 it caused quite a stir, not least because of the attractive pricing in what is a fairly crowded marketplace. Three years later, and version 2 replaces the striking red livery with a more subdued silver and-black design. The 49-, 61- and 76-key models all feature semi-weighted keys with aftertouch; the UF80 has 88 hammer-action weighted keys, also with aftertouch. That aside, the functionality of each model is identical.
Score: 9
