When a company that has garnered widespread acclaim for its range of hardware products decides to make a move into the realm of plug-in technology, the chances are there’s something rather interesting in the air. This is certainly true of Yamaha – the biggest and most prolific of the music and audio technology manufacturers with countless hardware designs to its name. Yet branching off into software territory actually seems like a logical step for the company. Indeed, some would say it was long overdue.
