There is a large range of vocal-orientated products available from TC-Helicon, most of them in the form of single- or multi-FX pedals. VoiceLive Touch adds to this range in the guise of a mic stand-mountable touch device. The fully touch-sensitive interface is aimed at vocalists who want easy programming and quick control over various effects parameters, but an optional three-button footswitch can be used if preferred. The unit itself is pretty hefty and a big feature of its design is the ability to mount it on a mic stand without any kind of fastening required. The weight of the unit holds it in place and we found it to be very stable vertically, but relatively easy to knock to the side without unreasonable force. A hole in the clamp acts as a cable-tidy, so ease of setting up has obviously been a major consideration.
