Blue Yeti Microphone Review
More conventional-looking than some of Blue’s other USB mics, Huw Price spots the elusive multi-pattern Yeti.
Price: £129.00
Manufacturer: Blue
Website: http://www.bluemic.com

We must confess that we weren’t expecting anything quite so heavy and imposing before we opened the box. Many USB mics look and feel like the poor cousins of their product lines, but you wouldn’t want to drop this one on your foot. On its base the total weight is 1.55kg and it’s just under 30cm tall. The Yeti can also be detached from the base and attached to a regular mic stand via a threaded recess in the base, but there’s no shockmount or angle-adjustment potential.
Score: 8
