If you happen to be one of those musicians who frequent sites such as www.kvraudio.com on a regular basis you’ll no doubt be familiar with that intrepid bunch of pioneers who spend countless hours programming audio plug-ins and virtual analogue synthesizers for the common good of all. Some are amateurs who make their work freely available. Others, like Urs Heckmann, are professionals, who program and produce good-quality software at very reasonable prices.
